HOW NATURAL CONCEPTS WAS CREATED

Natural Concepts in Pet Nutrition did not start out as a business.   My goal was to improve the health and nutrition of my own pets.   Prior to this, I found myself making too many costly trips to the veterinarian without any "real answers" or end to the numerous health problems my dogs seemed to encounter- only a bandaid of cortisone or antibiotics and a diagnosis of allergies.   When the lifespan of the breed I had been involved with for over 30 years diminished to an average of six to eight years I found this unacceptable and vowed to make a change.  

13 years ago, I decided to take over the responsibility of supplying my pets with the best available foods that I could find and afford.   I began to feed a wholesome, natural diet, free from preservatives and fillers.   This included a variety of raw meats, vegetables and homemade treats.   The general condition of my dogs and cats greatly improved.   My current family includes 9 bernese mountain dogs, 3 english cockers and two cats.

This company was built by word of mouth and referrals. What started out as a desire to help a few friends feed their pets a better diet has grown and evolved into Natural Concepts in Pet Nutrition . We are not a big company, but we do have a vested interest in our own animals being fed the best, therefore yours will reap the benefits as well.
